Reinforced aluminium foil tape: a thin aluminium facing laminated to a polyethylene non-woven mesh, with an aggressive synthetic rubber resin adhesive on a siliconised paper release liner. The mesh gives greater structural and tensile strength than plain foil tapes, yet it still tears easily by hand. It is suitable as a vapour seal, bonds well to itself and to aluminium-faced products such as ductwork, and is flame retardant (tested to AS1530.3-1999).

Application tips: clean surfaces of oil, dust and grease first. Let the tape follow the contours without stretching it, then rub it down firmly with a squeegee or similar for maximum adhesion.
